I attended high school with Dre. He was a popular, handsome young man. He played varsity Basketball for our high school....He His locker was a few from mine my Junior year...
Dre went out to the club with some of his friends one night...After the club let out,he noticed a female that was upset because her abusive boyfriend refused to pick her up from the club. Dre being the sweetheart he was offered to give the girl a ride home.
When he pulled up to her home, her jealous boyfriend was there and had made threats to the girl. He thought his gilrfriend was cheating with Dre, and she was not... Dre jumped out the car and told him not to speak to a woman that way and if he wanted to abuse someone that he could abuse him......words were exchanged, her boyfriend pulled out an Ak-47 and shot Dre several times..
My boy Dre died right there a the scene...for defending a woman from her abusive boyfriend...
Women out there if you are in an abusive relationship please seek help...Leave hat loser the first chance that you get. All of this could have been prevented..I miss Dre very much. It is hard to believe that he is gone but he is...RIP...
